Hōjicha is a roasted green tea from Japan with a robust and rustic flavor. The roasting process removes much of the tea's caffeine, allowing it to be enjoyed by all. We've added natural vanilla flavor for a creamy twist on this naturally nutty tea.
Our Hojicha is grown organically in Shizuoka, Japan using chagusaba farming methods (the pairing of natural grasslands with tea fields designed to enrich rather than strip the natural environment).

Working directly with local farms dedicated to the practice of Chagusaba farming (the pairing of natural grasslands with tea fields designed to enrich rather than strip the natural environment), they have been able to achieve a high quality of life for farm workers and stability for farmers.
