We've combined our smooth and malty Certified Elephant Friendly (TM) Assam Black tea with the quintessentially North American flavor of maple, in a salute to one of the original commando units of World War II - the First Special Service Force.

Dubbed the Black Devils, these Canadian and US volunteer soldiers gave birth to Canada's First Airborne Unit and the United States First Special Forces Regiment can trace its lineage back to it as well.

Our rich and malty Assam Black tea is the perfect complement to bold natural maple flavor.  An impeccable choice on a snowy morning and a wonderful treat any time.

Love it!

I’m not a huge tea drinker but I do love this blend! It certainly helped that the blend was made in honor of my father’s WWII unit, the First Special Service Force! I had the honor of attending many of the unit’s reunions over the years and being awestruck in the presence of these heroes. Thanks for the great tea and for honoring their legacy!

Delicate and delicious maple flavor

What everyone has said here...this is a delicate maple flavor that doesn't go overboard, and is good hot or iced. I ordered this as a sample last year, and was very impressed. Will have to try it with cream!

Genuine Maple

This is a very nice black tea that tastes sweetly of real maple syrup without being cloying. Enjoy!

This is an excellent tea. Like some previous reviwers i am mostly a coffee drinker, but this is good. I even sweetened with a little maple syrup.

My favorite tea!

I'm a coffee drinker and I love this tea, especially with some half & half. I prepare it with twice the recommended amount of tea and I steep it for 5 minutes instead of 3. :) It's delicious.
